The Japan Society of Competitive Intelligence
The Japan Society of Competitive Intelligence was established as a non-profit organization (NPO) in February, 2008, in recognition of the growing need for Competitive Intelligence (CI) research in Japan and for cooperating with research institutions of Europe and the U.S.A., such as SCIP (Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals) and the Institute for Competitive Intelligence in Germany.
The Japanese economy faces a severe global competitive environment, and CI is gaining recognition today as an indispensable way to improve the competitive edge of Japan in the international society and to formulate new competitive strategies.
